A local gem. My first time in Port Hardy and you can see this is a popular place.
Had the daily soup which was tomato soup and boy you can just taste how fresh it was! It was like they picked the tomatoes the same day.
Definitely come here for a meal.

Great staff and the food was awesome. The ambiance and the drinks made our day. We stayed in a motel near the pub. We wanted the halibut fish and chips but they only had Cod.

Ordered beef dip with fries and a side of a cup of seafood chowder for take-out. I arrive for the pick up and am sort of left waiting for 2-3 minutes for the food to come out from the back. Before it comes they asked if I needed cutlery, which I said yes. Assuming if you're ordering take out, like soup, they would have provided me a spoon. I check my bag and there is no spoon, as well no ketchup for fries or salt +pepper. I won't be ordering from here for takeout in the future and sure hope they will add those items to orderd automatically

Food was good and service was very nice.
We had no reservation, but we still got a table although it was pretty crowded since many locals have been there.

Had the seafood chowder. A let down from the one I had the day before. It was OK. I asked for a cup and bread, then changed to a bowl without bread. Got the bread anyway. It was grilled nicely. Upcharge of $2.00. Also had the wild mushroom pappardelle. It was quite good. Basically a mushroom sauce over broad noodles. Lots of mushrooms.
